Details of the Whole Systems Consulting Seminar

 

  • Small, intimate group of no more than a dozen;

  • Pre-seminar self-assessment of your current practice;

  • Group discussion of shared interests and seminar goals;

  • Pre-seminar preparation of a current example or case of organizational challenge you prepare for work with the group and faculty;

  • Faculty presentations of cases illustrating how GR thinking and skills have been successful in their practices;

  • Possible role-playing client, consultant, and advisor roles for specific organizational dilemmas with review discussion;

  • Smaller group discussion of cases of interest, either provided by faculty or each other:

  • Individual opportunities for consultation with faculty or other participants;

  • Ongoing assessment of relevance of current activities to the purpose for the seminar, with flexibility to change course based on collective decisions.
